St. Mark AME Church’s mission is to transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, so that we are empowered to serve our families, church and community, all for the glory of God.
The Church’s Mandate
St. Mark AME Church’s mandate is to transform lives through Five Mandates of Ministry and Service.
Reformation – St. Mark AME Church will work diligently to improve the spiritual atmosphere of the church, with a commitment to a higher level of worship, service and empowering each member to be an effective witness for Christ.
Restoration – St. Mark AME Church and its leadership will work to lead the membership to a place of spiritual restoration, building up our faith and witness, by supporting the teaching and preaching ministries of the church.
Recommitment – St. Mark AME Church and its leadership will recommit their lives and the ministry, to one of service to the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the life of the local church, its membership and community.
Reconciliation - St. Mark AME Church and its leadership will work to build a spirit of reconciliation, striving to maintain the spirit of family love, unity and community.
Reclamation – St. Mark AME Church and its leadership will pray and work diligently to reclaim the lost, making sure that they know that they are valued and their spiritual needs are met.
